Stay Safe & Be Kind

Celebrating the Class of 2020!

This year has been a tough one on students and parents alike.

Plans have been changed, routines uprooted, and in the case of 2020 Graduates celebrations have been cancelled. Amidst all the uncertainty and disappointment we’ve faced in the last few weeks, Stay Safe Be Kind wants to help celebrate the Class of 2020 which is why we have introduced our new Celebrating our Graduates sign.

Just like with our original Stay Safe Be Kind Signs – 100% of the proceeds from your purchase go directly to charity! With our new Celebrating our Graduates sign we will be sponsoring the Thames Valley Education Foundation's Caring Fund. This Fund provides critical support to students experiencing crisis within 24-48 hours of a request being submitted by their Principal.

Some REAL examples of how this fund has helped students within the Thames Valley District Schoolboard include:

Students skipping lunch to save money at home

House fire where 3 students needed help to secure new school related supplies

Student of divorced parents could not afford to attend Father's funeral in a different city

Elementary school student wearing mom's clothes to school due to financial constraints, needs help to purchase warm weather clothing

With COVID-19 the demands on the Caring Fund have only increased while two of the biggest Fundraisers that support it had to be cancelled. At the request of parent groups Stay Safe Be Kind is stepping up to help the Thames Valley Education Foundation raise money to support students and we hope that you will join us!
